Soon after Niamh arrived I knew I wanted another little girl and I knew it had to be another Lanakeshena whippet! Rachel and I discussed it for months and when her lovely Tegan gave birth to one girl and 3 boys I knew what I wanted! Luckily for me, Rachel decided to keep a boy and in August 2007 Daisy arrived to complete my family.

Daisy is as sweet as her mother and as loving as her father which is a wonderful combination. She loves soft toys and usually carries one around with her, occasionally ragging it. Every so often she and Niamh destuff one of their toys but I haven't been able to train them to clear up after themselves!

Daisy is a great favourite with everybody and is another dog that my mother would like to steal! (Family joke.) She loves nothing better than to be curled up on your lap or by your side and gives lovely gentle kisses. Don't be fooled though - she also makes an excellent guard dog and knows everything that goes on outside!

Daisy's recall on walks is even better than Niamh's but, being sighthounds, there are times when they "can't" hear me. I love both my whippet girls and can't thank Rachel enough for letting me have them.
